Our own California laureate/Forever Poet in Residence Dr. Barbara Mossberg’s original tribute to the woman behind the man, unknown by us, Louie Wanda, a concert pianist and Grange Plunker, a botanist and ranch manager, a woman of haut couture and also the stay at home wife of John Muir, as Dr. B imagines her and her relationship with the famous Mountain Man whose words saved wilderness for over a hundred years: twenty songs Dr. B hears of love and passion for each other and earth. Come hear a tale of love for flowers and the words that sang as much as the Sierran birds,
And of course, cake will be served!
