DESCRIPTION:If your bookshelves are looking empty\, or your “must read” list growing short – never fear! Visit St. Mary’s Church from 10 am until 4 pm  to find wonderful buys in books\, puzzles\, CDs and more\, all in excellent condition. \nAll proceeds benefit the Library’s community of readers and learners. If you’re a member of the Friends\, you get a nice discount. And yes\, we’re happy to have you become a member at the Sale! \nThe Friends’ Book Store is also open at St. Mary’s Church Monday through Friday from 10 am -12 noon. \nWe are now accepting one bag or box of donated books per person. Donations need to be resalable (very dirty\, discolored\, mildewed\, damaged or detached covers\, old text books\, old computer books\, etc. are not suitable for resale). Please don’t donate books that you wouldn’t consider buying yourself. Puzzles are especially welcome! Thank you

He has published hundreds of national magazine articles and more than 50 books about everything from civil rights to sports to space exploration. As a screenwriter\, he has completed several feature-length screenplays in various genres — true history\, sci-fi\, comedy\, and romance. Herzog has written four American travel memoirs. His first rose to #2 on the Amazon.com bestseller list (behind Harry Potter); another was listed by Lonely Planet among eight “classics” of the genre\, alongside Travels with Charley. \nSponsored by Pacific Grove Public Library Friends and Foundation. \nThis event is FREE. DESCRIPTION:Dine Out With Friends at Red House Café. Built in 1895\, the “Little Red House” is a local landmark. In 1996\, the Red House Café was opened in the main part of the house. They serve new American cuisine with a European influence and a strong emphasis on fresh\, seasonal ingredients. They are open 8:00 am – 9:00 pm. Tell them you’re a Friend of Pacific Grove Library and they will donate a portion of their proceeds for the day to the Friends. This is a delicious way to support the library.
